Laqua by the Lake has two boats permitted for use by our guests, free of charge. Lake Orta does not require a license for use around the lake, but we, as your loving hosts (aka, Gina) strongly encourage those with boating experience to captain over those with limited experience.

If you would like to tour the lake and wish to join guests with boating experience, please let us know!

Finally, we kindly ask that those interested in using a boat be mindful of others wanting to enjoy the lake. With 50 guests, please coordinate your trips with friends. We’ll have a sign-up sheet at the dock with various time slots, as well as a waitlist for any extra availability. Resort staff are also available to sKeep in mind that each boat needs time to recharge throughout the day, so let’s make sure we keep them powered up to avoid leaving anyone stranded on the water!
